The Bridge's In-House Producer mentioned in Two Different Blogs!

The Bridge Sound & Stage's in-house producer, The Arcitype, was recently mentioned in 2 different blogs.

The first is by J. Barber, a new client to the studio, who has put together a very cool website that will chronicle his journey of making his new soul album here at The Bridge. He has some kind words to say about The Arcitype, check it out here.

The second mention was by Rhythm, Rhyme, Results (or RRR) in SoundCloud's Blog. The Arcitype has worked with RRR for a number of years now, and it was for them that he produced the beat for "44 Presidents", which was selected as a featured video on YouTube last year and received over 300,000 views in a single weekend. You can read up on them by clicking here.

Sugartown's The Royalty

The Bridge Sound & Stage had the pleasure of recording Sugartown's The Royalty a few months back. While in the studio we were able to engineer and track two songs, "Forth" and "Move". The band is made up of two guitarists, a bassist a drummer, singer, and usually houses two vocalists in their songs. While holding true to an independent sound, have major pop influences such as Prince (as they say on myspace). I hear a bit more Built to Spill. If you want to get more info or hear the mixes they put together check out their webpage. There is also a video shot by of friend Jon Lukason that is from a performance of The Royalty on the "Katos show" which airs in the Arlington and Somerville area on local access. You can check the video out here: http://youtube.com/watch?v=Nw1nLKhSKPs. All in all it was great to have The Royalty record in our studio and we are looking forward to the next session.
