Music Review You Shouldn't skip. Eric Holland
This is the RSS feed for the Holland Tunnel. My buddy Eric has been posting regular reviews for several years now and his wisdom, experience and taste in music set him apart from the pack.
Here is a more standard link for those who don't use RSS. I just started using RSS in Firefox. I just click the subscribe button and ask to put the link on my bookmarks toobar. Then I then click the link I see all the latest blog postings.
Update: a better link http://www.hollandude.com/

Recording Mons at HTM
It has taken me a while to post about this recording. The music they make at HTM is well above par. Their focus and tireless efforts in chanting are unmistakable even to those like myself with less experience with byzantine chant.
However this is not why I waited to post. I was working at a monastery and hanging out with open minded, intelligent, men who believe and devote their life to god. I found this experience set my balance off a bit. Liz jokingly asked if I planed to join up and I think Niall may have considered joining as well. I am not a person with strong faith, and my skepticism it extreme at times. But with that on the table, I feel comfortable saying this place and these men are unique in their true devotion to faith. Without question HTM is a very wonderful place where humble and devoted men strive to demonstrate a life of faith. I have read a few book about the semi-modern saints so that I might further understand the role models these men have for their lives. From what i can see these men strive to model their lives after the saints. With all the cults, mad-men, and perversions of traditional religion, it is nice to know that this traditional christian community offers a a church that supports and understands a modern world. -O

Boston Hip Hop History Made At The Bridge!
After the on-stage reunion of Boston Hip Hop group, Made Men at this year's Boston Unity Fest at The Paradise Rock Club, the group made history by recording their first tracks with Hip Hop legend, Edo. G, right here at The Bridge Sound & Stage. Though Edo has worked with Made Men member, Twice Thou, on tracks for their group 4 Peace, and Edo and Mr. Gzus go way back, Edo and Benzino had never gotten together in the studio, so this was a big moment in Boston Hip Hop history. Thanks go out to DJ Benny at 88.9FM WERS for spreading the word on the air that night!

Walter Sickert was so good.
Amanda Palmer asked The Army of Broken Toys to open for her at The Bridge Sound and Stage on 4-14-2008. The show was recorded and 200 + people enjoyed it live. I would like to thank all the students and interns who helped get the show off the ground. -Owen Curtin

Special thanks to an amazing band
