The Bridge Sound & Stage had the pleasure of recording Sugartown's The Royalty a few months back. While in the studio we were able to engineer and track two songs, "Forth" and "Move". The band is made up of two guitarists, a bassist a drummer, singer, and usually houses two vocalists in their songs. While holding true to an independent sound, have major pop influences such as Prince (as they say on myspace). I hear a bit more Built to Spill. There is also a video shot by of friend Jon Lukason that is from a performance of The Royalty on the "Katos show" which airs in the Arlington and Somerville area on local access.
